Our client is in consulting industry and wishes to recruit a competent committed individual for the position of HR assistant.

Job requirements

The candidate must possess the following set of requirements;

  • AT LEAST two years of experience in a busy human resource department.
  • AT LEAST a diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Proficient in both English and Swahili language (written and spoken).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A quick learner who is self-motivated with the acumen to follow instructions.
  • Has a good ability to multitask.
  • Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular).
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.).
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Promoting and identifying new clients by introducing and presenting the company’s products, building up relationships, generating sales, and growing revenue portfolio
  • Conducting online Marketing and advertisement
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company, its services and products
  • Maintain vast knowledge in the sector
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations and demos to clients and prospects
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and emails
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Provide market feedback through reports on; customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Explaining complex information to customers in a way that is easily understandable
  • Keeping customers updated and informed about new products and services and improvements on the existing ones
  • Preparing and updating customers’ contact information, communications and records
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
